Pinkney gets Brands run out in Vectra

David Pinkney had his first taste of the ex-Fabrizio Giovanardi Vauxhall Vectra he will campaign in this season’s BTCC at Brands Hatch today. The series stalwart was one of a trio of BTCC drivers out at the Kent circuit, as preparations for the start of the season intensify.

Pinkney ran his NGTC powered Vectra in an interim, stripped down VX Racing livery, with a return to his trademark pink livery expected for the car that will be run by his own Pinkney Motorsport team.

Also out at Brands Hatch were fellow NGTC engine powered Andrew Jordan in his Pirtek Vectra and double BTCC Champion Matt Neal, running in the Team Dynamics Honda Civic.
