Joakim Ahlberg returns to STCC

Privateer Joakim Ahlberg returns to the Swedish Touring Car Championship with a BMW 320i E46.
“I’m going to be in the top of the privateers cup and take one or two top eight places in the total,” said Ahlberg to dalademokraten.se.

Ahlberg last took part in the STCC during the 2008 season but was forced to sit out the last season.

This year he has bought a newer BMW 320i E46, the very one Tobias Tegelby raced in 2008.
“It is the same model as my last car, but this one has been upgraded with the latest parts for this model,” said Ahlberg.

Ahlberg is going to face opposition from Robin Appelqvist, Claes Hoffsten and Andreas Ebbesson in Semcon Cup this year.
