Spotters Guide for 2010 BTCC season launched
TouringCarTimes is happy to present the 2010 BTCC Spotters Guide, courtesy of Andy Blackmore Design.
The guide is the most comprehensive visual aid for any touring car fan, especially with new cars and colours there at the start of every season.
The guide is also a chance for sponsors to show their afflilations with the teams right from the start before a TV camera is even pointed at the cars on circuit.
If you’re struggling to tell your Plato from your MacDowell as a blue Chevrolet Cruze races down the pit straight towards you whilst you stand at the first corner, the guide will help you know that the blue windshield stripe is 2001 champion Plato, and the white one is touring car newcomer MacDowell.
If you’re after even more discreet markers, as Team Aon try to make it difficult, maybe it’s the Calor branding on the nose of Tom Onslow-Cole’s car as opposed to the Aon branding on Chilton’s that will help you – though you’re more likely to be able to see the car number or driver’s name written across the rear windows first!
Thank you.
