Göransson heads BMW 1-2-3 at Gelleråsen

Richard Göransson was fastest overall in the first official Swedish Touring Car Championship test of the year at Gelleråsen. The WestCoast Racing driver was just 0.028 seconds faster than rival BMW-man Thed Björk.

Björk’s team mate Jan “Flash” Nilsson made it a BMW 1-2-3 by claiming the third fastest time, three tenths behind Göransson.

Volvo team mates Robert Dahlgren and Tommy Rustad followed each other closely in fourth and fifth, just separated by eight thousands of a second.

Fredrik Ekblom was sixth fastest in the bio-gas powered Volkswagen Scirocco ahead of Mattias Andersson and Patrik Olsson.

Andreas Ebbesson was once again fastest privateer in ninth ahead of Ekström Junior Team driver Roger Eriksson.
