Dahlgren quickest in Jyllandsringen test

Robert Dahlgren was quickest during the official Swedish Touring Car Championship test session at Jyllandsringen today. The Volvo-driver lapped the Danish track in 1:11.074, over a second quicker than his closest rival: Jan “Flash” Nilsson.

There was only six cars present during the session today due to noise limitations. A further six cars are going to test tomorrow.

Fredrik Ekblom was third fastest in the bio-gas powered Volkswagen Scirocco of Team Biogas.se, just 0.018 seconds faster than IPS Motorsport driver Johan Stureson.

Mattias Andersson was fourth fastest, a further three tenths slower. The SEAT Léon of the Mattias Ekström Junior Team was sixth fastest, with Roger Eriksson and Dick Sahlén sharing the car during the day.

The test today was done in cold, windy and rain shower affected conditions.
