Dahlgren sets blistering pace at Jyllandsringen

No one came close to Robert Dahlgren in the second practice session at Jyllandsringen today. The Volvo driver set the time 1:09.385, a whole eight tenths faster than triple STCC champion Richard Göransson. Dahgren’s team mate and reigning champion Tommy Rustad was third fastest.

Thed Björk was fourth fastest ahead of the bio-gas powered Volkswagen Scirocco of Fredrik Ekblom.

Jason Watt was the fastest Danish driver in sixth position, 1.1 seconds behind Dahlgren’s time. Johan Stureson and Roger Eriksson was seventh and eight fastest.

The session was interrupted twice. Robert Schlünsen stranded his BMW in the gravel in the first corner while Jens Reno Moller went off a bit further on the track moments later.
