Tom Chilton excluded from race two victory
Tom Chilton has been stripped of his race two victory at Brands Hatch. The stewards found his car to be too low in the control after the race.
This means that team mate Tom Onslow-Cole inherits the win, Gordon Shedden moves up to second and Alex MacDowall third.
The revised results mean that the finish between Onslow-Cole and Shedden becomes the closest ever finish in the history of BTCC – just 0.009 seconds separated the both.
UPDATED: The initial messages was that his car was found to be underweight, something that has been changed to that it was too low in the after race control.
