Thed Björk claims Knutstorp pole position

Thed Björk took pole position in the final seconds of the second qualifying session at Knutstorp. The BMW-driver beat Volvo-driver Robert Dahlgren with 0.114 seconds.
“This is just so nice! I am going to try and get a clean start and pull away,” said Björk.

Richard Göransson was fastest in the first qualifying session but dropped to third in the second session. Jan “Flash” Nilsson claimed fourth, close to half a second behind his team mate on a still wet track.

Reining champion Tommy Rustad was fifth ahead of Team Biogas.se team mates Patrik Olsson and Fredrik Ekblom.

Privateer Andreas Ebbesson continues to impress and was eigth fastest, just beating Roger Eriksson and Viktor Hallrup to the second qualifying session.

The rain has more or less stopped at Knutstorp and the conditions are very likely to change ahead of the first race.
