Dahlgren on pole just ahead of Magnussen

Robert Dahlgren claimed pole position in Gothenburg ahead of the ever impressive Jan Magnussen. Just seven hundredths of a second separated the both and Magnussen seemingly had no problems adapting to the Chevrolet Lacetti.

Reigning champion Tommy Rustad was third fastest, two tenths behind his team mate, ahead of Mattias Andersson and Richard Göransson, who improved his time on his very last lap.

Fredrik Ekblom is going to start fifth ahead of Casper Elgaard.

There were only seven cars in the Q2 session as Thed Björk was missing. Björk made it to Q2 but crashed heavily in Q1, meaning that he is going to miss both races this weekend.

Björk spun in the fastest corner of the track, hitting the barriers with the rear end of his BMW 320si.

Jan “Flash” Nilsson is going to start ninth, behind the empty spot of his team mate on the grid.
