Thed Björk tops Gothenburg morning test

Thed Björk headed a BMW 1-2 in the Gothenburg morning test with rival Richard Göransson in second, 0.115 seconds behind. Mattias Andersson was third fastest, just a couple of hundredths of a second behind Göransson.

Jan “Flash” Nilsson headed another two BMW’s in fourth with best Danish driver Casper Elgaard in fifth.

Yesterday’s fastest man Robert Dahlgren was sixth fastest, but only completed a couple of laps and was standing in the pits calmly for the majority of the test.

Jan Mangnussen was seventh ahead of Robert Schlünssen and Johan Stureson. Fredrik Ekblom rounded off top ten.

The session was briefly halted when SEAT driver Jason Watt stopped on the track because of technical problems.
