Patrik Olsson hopeful with new Volkswagen Scirocco

The EON Team Biogas.se is going to debut the S2000 specification Volkswagen Scirocco in the coming race at Falkenberg. Driver Patrik Olsson is hopeful ahead of the race.
“I want a victory before the season is over. It is going to be tough but the chances increase with the new car,” said Olsson to the official championship site.

The biggest issue Olsson hopes is going to be solved with the new car is tyre wear.

“The car is going to be build completely according to the S2000 regulations. Above all the weight distribution is going to be more even. We’ve had big problems with the tyres half way through the races,” said Olsson.

While the car is going to be complete S2000 specification, the engine is going to remain the nationally homologated turbo charged bio gas engine.
