Spy pictures of the new S2000 Volkswagen Scirocco

TouringCarTimes caught the Swedish Touring Car Championship Volkswagen EON-team testing the new S2000 Volkswagen Scirocco at Oschersleben. Here we present exclusive spy photos of the new car in action.

The team is switching from the current nationally homologated Volkswagen Scirocco to a completely newly developed S2000 version. The new car is going to make its first public apperance at the STCC race at Falkenberg next weekend.

The EON team was running back to back tests with the older version of the car during the test day at Oschersleben. Both drivers, Fredrik Ekblom and Patrik Olsson, were behind the wheel of the new car during the test.

The aerodynamics, chassis and suspension has been completely re-worked on the new car.

Previous rumors that SEAT Sport has been involved in the development of the new car has seemingly been strengthened by the SEAT logos on staff around the car during the test day.
