Biogas.se enters a third Volkswagen Scirocco

The Volkswagen team Biogas.se is going to add a third Volkswagen Scirocco for the Scandinavian round at Jyllandsringen. The driver is Johan Kristoffersson, son of the team boss Tommy Kristoffersson.
“We are a professional team with high ambitions and as we got the possibility to run three cars, we are of course going to take the chance,” said team boss Tommy Kristoffersson.

Johan Kristoffersson is going to drive the older specification Volkswagen Scirocco that was replaced for the STCC race at Falkenberg by the newer S2000 version of the Scirocco.

“Johan steps in to the team in one of the cars that we started the season with,” said Kristoffersson.

Johan has previously taken part in the STCC, driving an Audi A4 in the privateers cup last year, finishing second overall.

“Johan is going to be third driver and he understands what that role means. He is going to drive smart, do a good job for the team and support the other drivers,” said Kristoffersson.

Johan joins regular drivers Fredrik Ekblom, currently third in the championship, and Patrik Olsson, sixth in the championship.
