Jens Reno Møller fastest at Jyllandsringen

Jens Reno Møller was fastest in the first practice session of the Scandinavian Touring Car Cup at Jyllandsringen. The SEAT-driver lapped the Danish track in 1:10.730, two tenths faster than fellow Danish driver Jan Magnussen in the Chevrolet Lacetti.

Swedish Touring Car Championship leader Richard Göransson was third fastest, right ahead of championship rival Robert Dahlgren in fourth.

British touring car ace James Thompson was fifth fastest after being on top of the list for the majority of the session, though unable to respond in the closing stages.

Casper Elgaard headed three BMW’s in sixth ahead of Thed Björk and Robert Schlünssen. Tommy Rustad and Roger Eriksson rounded off top ten.

The session was run without interruption, a brief yellow flag-session was caused by a gravel visit of Swedish independent-driver Joakim Ahlberg.
