Jens Reno Møller criticizes Richard Göransson

Jens Reno Møller left the Scandinavian Touring Car Cup race at Jyllandsringen with sour feelings towards STCC championship leader Richard Göransson.
“Apparently Göransson felt that you can enter the third corner with four locked wheels and push your way through,” said Møller to the official championship site.

Jens Reno Møller started the weekend strong, was fastest on the free practice and started fourth for the first race.

But the incident with Göransson, which also eliminated Jan Magnussen, meant that the Danish SEAT-driver had to pit with a puncture on the first lap.

“It was a shame as I had a good pace in the first race after having pitted for the new tyre. I had by far the fastest lap time of everyone,” said Møller.

Møller is hoping to score a victory before the season is over as his chances for the championship are gone.

“We have driven six races at Jyllandsringen, four with the Swedes, and I have been quickest in four races, so there is no doubt that we have found the right settings for the car. We need a victory in the final race to save the season. The championship is over for us,” said Møller.
