Roger Eriksson tops first Knutstorp test

Roger Eriksson climbed on top of the list with just seconds to go of the first morning test of the Scandinavian Touring Car Cup at Knutstorp. The SEAT-driver lapped the track in 1:01.359, just 0.073 seconds ahead of reigning STCC champion Tommy Rustad.

Mattias Andersson was third fastest in his Alfa Romeo 156 in the very cold conditions at Knutstorp, temperatures just barely climbing over 10 degrees celsius.

Fredrik Ekblom fifth fastest ahead of Scandinavian championship leader Robert Dahlgren. Flash Engineering-drivers Thed Björk and Jan “Flash” Nilsson followed each other in sixth and seventh ahead of STCC championship leader Richard Göransson.

Jan Magnussen was best of the Danish drivers in ninth position ahead of Johan Kristoffersson in the bio-gas powered Volkswagen Scirocco.
