Tordoff to drive second Triple Eight Vectra at Brands

Elf Renault Clio Cup racer Sam Tordoff will make his BTCC debut at the season finale at Brands Hatch for Triple Eight Race Engineering.

Triple Eight have run their second car on a race by race basis and this will be the fourth time this season the team have entered two cars for a BTCC weekend.

Sam Tordoff will be the sixth different driver for the team this season after Nash, Fabrizio Giovanardi, Phil Glew, Daniel Lloyd & Jeff Smith.

21-year old Tordoff from Leeds is in his second season in the Elf Renault Clio Cup, where he took a win last weekend at Silverstone. The championship was taking a rare break from its slot on the BTCC support calendar to join the World Series by Renault meeting.
