Leif Nilsson appointed new chairman for STCC

Leif Nilsson has been appointed new chairman for the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship, replacing Erik Olsson.
“I am very glad to have been asked and it is going to be an exciting challenge to be part of the development progress of STCC,” said Nilsson.

Nilsson has previously been head of the marketing company “Göteborg & Co” and, among other things, been part of the formation of the Gothenburg City Race of STCC.

Nilsson takes over the post as chairman of STCC today during the first STCC board meeting of 2011.

“STCC has got a concept with an enormous potential and we are going to continue developing it on national and nordic level,” said Nilsson.
