New base weights and test days for 2011

The base weights, preliminary, and test days for the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship 2011 have been set. The first official test of the year is going to take place at Knutstorp on the 13th of april, before moving on to Jyllandsringen in Denmark in the week of the season premiere.

There are no major changes in the base weights for the cars, compared to STCC 2010.

Rear wheel driven cars with sequential gearbox will get an addition of 15 kilos compared to the H-box, a reduction of 15 kilos compared to STCC 2010.

Cars using bio-ethanol, so far only the Volvo C30, will just as last year get a weight reduction of 6 kilos.
