NGTC Toyota and Pirtek Vauxhall testing at Brands

The NGTC Toyota Avensis prototype was present at Brands Hatch yesterday alongside the NGTC engined Vauxhall Vectra of Pirtek Racing.
“The TOCA engine has had more development on it over the winter and everything feels really good straight out of the blocks,” said Pirtek-driver Andrew Jordan to btcc.net.

Jordan is running the S2000 specification Vauxhall Vectra with the NGTC engine, just as last season.

“Already our lap times are looking good compared to what we achieved around here last year and that’s before we’ve even got started on chassis tweaks,” said Jordan.

The NGTC Toyota Avensis completed many laps with Matt Griffin behind the wheel, testing out the durability of various new components in the car.

Two teams are going to run the NGTC Toyota this year, Speedworks Motorsport and Dynojet Race Team.
