Thed Björk joins Camaro Cup for 2011

The 2006 STCC champion Thed Björk has left STCC to join the support class Camaro Cup for 2011.
“I said to my self that now I have the chance to do something new, to create a new team and keep my racing going in the popular Camaro Cup,” said Björk.

Björk raced for Flash Engineering in STCC 2010 and finished a disappointing fifth in the championship after being second in the championship the year before on the same points as the champion Tommy Rustad.

Björk is going to take part in Camaro Cup for the team Mikael Eklund Motorsport. The 30-year-old states that he intends to return to STCC in 2012.
