Official entry list released with 22 drivers

The Scandinavian Touring Car Championship organizers has revealed the official entry list, featuring 22 drivers and cars. New to the list compared to the preliminary one TouringCarTimes revealed two weeks ago are two entries.

Danish team Perfection Racing has entered one Chevrolet Lacetti with a yet to be announced driver. Information to TouringCarTimes suggests that Jan Magnussen is going to drive selected races for the team.

The second new entry compared to the preliminary list is privateer driver Ronnie Brandt in the Volvo S60. Brandt failed to finish in the sole race weekend he took part in at Falkenberg last year and is not expected to complete many races this year.

The Danielsson Motorsport team is entered with two yet to be announced cars for two yet to be announced drivers. Information to TouringCarTimes suggests that team owner Alx Danielsson is going to be behind the wheel of one of the cars, most likely SEAT León, and JTCC runner-up Rasmus Mårthen in the second car.

The fourth and final TBA on the list is the second SEAT León of SEAT Dealer Team/Brovallen Design. Roger Eriksson continues in the SEAT he drove last year while the second car is expected to have a number of different drivers this season, including team owner Tobias Johansson. Dick Sahlén, who drove for the team last year, is not expected to return for this season.

The season kicks off with an official test session at Knutstorp on the 13th of April, with the season premiere at Jyllandsringen on the 22-23rd of April.
