Joakim Ahlberg confirms STCC entry

Privateer driver Joakim Ahlberg became the 23rd entry for the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship 2011. Ahlberg finished second in the Semcon Independents’ Trophy last year behind champion Andreas Ebbesson.

Ahlberg is going to drive the same BMW 320i E46 he used last season, a car he drove to three privateer victories in 2010.

2011 is going to be the second STCC season for the 24-year-old who finished second in the Junior Touring Car Championship 2007.
