Rydell tops morning warm up at Jyllandsringen

Rickard Rydell topped the morning warm up session at Jyllandsringen, lapping the Danish track in 1:10.902. Privateer BMW driver Johan Stureson was his closest rival, three tenths behind.

Roger Eriksson was third fastest, right ahead of Flash Engineering driver Colin Turkington. A mere 0.023 seconds separated the both.

Jason Watt was fifth fastest ahead of Tobias Johansson and Tomas Engström.

While Rydell topped the list, things were worse for his team mate Viktor Hallrup who had to sit out the warm up session. The gearbox of Hallrup failed yesterday and the team is currently waiting for spare parts to arrive to the track.

The first race of the day starts at 13.05 CET.
