Rustad tops morning test at Mantorp

Tommy Rustad topped the morning test session at Mantorp Park, just 0.011 seconds ahead of Martin Öhlin. Rickard Rydell claimed third fastest time, close to three tenths behind the time of Rustad.

Volkswagen Scirocco driver Fredrik Ekblom was fourth fastest ahead of Jan “Flash” Nilsson in the BMW 320si.

Roger Eriksson was first driver outside top five, ahead of Colin Turkington and Tomas Engström. Last year’s pole man Mattias Andersson and Team Biogas.se man Patrik rounded off top ten.

The test started with wet conditions, but a blazing sun dried up the track quickly and the times are expected to drop through out the day.
