“Flash” penalized and dropped to seventh

Jan “Flash” Nilsson was penalized for his incident with Tommy Rustad in the first STCC race at Mantorp Park. The BMW driver was given 6 seconds which drops him from fourth to seventh.

“Flash” dove on the inside of Rustad in the closing stages of the race, a move resulting in contact and a huge slide for Rustad who later recovered to sixth.

“Flash” started 18th and made his way past 12 cars in the race to fourth, before being penalized.
