Tommy Rustad tops Mantorp warm up

Tommy Rustad topped the morning warm up session at Mantorp Park, half a second ahead of the two British drivers Colin Turkington and James Thompson. A mere 0.001 seconds separated Turkington and Thompson in second and third.

Jan “Flash” Nilsson, who is going to start from the final row in the first race due to a broken throttle cable in qualifying, was fourth fastest ahead of Tomas Engström in the Honda Accord.

Roger Eriksson claimed sixth on the list ahead of pole man Fredrik Ekblom and Mattias Andersson.

Rickard Rydell was ninth fastest with Patrik Olsson, who is going to start last in the race due to too high turbo pressure in qualifying, tenth.
