Ekblom and Kristoffersson heads VW 1-2

Fredrik Ekblom was joined by newly appointed team mate Johan Kristoffersson in the top of the final practice session at Falkenberg. Ekblom lapped the track in 45.789, just 0.013 seconds ahead of Kristoffersson who is driving the older and lighter specification Volkswagen Scirocco.

Championship leader Rickard Rydell was third fastest ahead of best BMW driver Richard Göransson.

James Thompson was fastest Volvo driver in fifth ahead of Roger Eriksson and Patrik Olsson. Johan Stureson, Tommy Rustad and privateer SEAT driver Tobias Johansson rounded off top ten.

17 drivers were covered within one second in the session of the total 19 drivers taking part.
