Stureson, Turkington, Tarquini top Karlskoga warm up

Johan Stureson, Colin Turkington and Gabriele Tarquini claimed the top three fastest times of the morning warm up session at Karlskoga. A mere 0.042 seconds covered the top three.

Jan “Flash” Nilsson was fourth fastest ahead of the three Volkswagen Scirocco drivers of Patrik Olsson, Johan Kristoffersson and Fredrik Ekblom.

Roger Eriksson, Martin Öhlin and privateer Tobias Johansson rounded off top ten.

An unusual high number of drivers made brief visits to the gravel track during the session. Öhlin was first to go off, followed by his team mate and pole man Richard Göransson a lap later on the very same spot.

Tarquini then followed suit a lap later, as did Johansson [twice] with minor damage to his rear bumber.

Rickard Rydell only managed two laps and spent the rest of the session in the pits with the bonnet open with some kind of technical problems.
