Casper Elgaard: “My goal is to win”

Casper Elgaard is making a one-off appearance in the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship races at Jyllandsringen next weekend with the ambition to win.
“My goal is to win. I am only driving this race, so I am there to win,” said Elgaard.

The fact that the championship is nearing its final stages is something Elgaard is going to use to his advantage.
“While the others are preparing them selves for the championship, trying to secure points, for me this all or nothing,” said Elgaard.

The multiple Danish Touring Car Championship champion teams up with Fabrizio Giovanardi at Hartmann Racing for the races at Jyllandsringen.
“I am really glad to be a part of this race. I had hoped to take part in the entire championship this year. That was unfortunately not possible but I am going to do my best with Jason [Watt] that no one is going to take Jyllandsringen from us Danes,” said Elgaard.

Elgaard tested at Jyllandsringen with Hartmann Racing a couple of days ago, the very first laps for the Dane in the Honda Accord.
“I am glad to be a part of the Hartmann team, they have proved that they can win in Denmark and not to forget in Europe. So I hope to be able to get strong results, not only for me, but especially for Hans Hartmann as a thanks for this opportunity,” said Elgaard.
