Dahlgren tops warm up and goes off track

Robert Dahlgren completed two laps, posted the fastest lap of the morning warm up session and went off track. The Volvo driver braked too late for the first corner and spun in to the gravel without any damage to the car.

Richard Göransson was second fastest, 0.184 seconds behind, with Dahlgren’s team mate and Volvo’s title hope Tommy Rustad in third.

Johan Kristoffersson was best of the Volkswagen driver in fourth, ahead of the best Chevrolet driver in the form of Michel Nykjaer in fifth, 0.662 from Dahlgren’s time.

Colin Turkington was second best BMW driver in sixth, 0.015 seconds faster than WestCoast Racing’s Martin Öhlin in seventh.

Pole man Rickard Rydell was eighth fastest ahead of Mattias Andersson and Jason Watt. Championship leader Fredrik Ekblom only completed four laps of which the fastest was over 25 seconds slower than the fastest lap of the session.
