Alx Danielsson back for STCC final

Alx Danielsson is going to be back driving a SEAT León for the final Scandinavian Touring Car Championship race of 2011.
“I am ready! I judge my chances as good this weekend. The competition is really high, but that is just more inspiring,” said Danielsson.

The team also confirms plans to equip their SEAT Leóns with NGTC specification engines next season.
“This season has been all about gathering information and data for next year when the NGTC regulations are introduced. If we are able to be in the top this weekend, then it confirms our hope to go for the title next year,” said Danielsson.

Danielsson has taken part in four race weekends this year with eighth as best result and is currently placed 22nd in the championship. The Swede is going to race alongside Robin Appelqvist at Danielsson Motorsport this weekend, upping the total number of entered cars to 24.
