Mantorp Park Events forced in to bankruptcy

Mantorp Park tenant Mantorp Park Events AB has been forced in to bankruptcy by property owner Fabas Group AB due to financial difficulties.
“We have put a lot of time and money in to support the event company. We’ve had to provide economical guarantees for the three past events in order to secure that they were performed,” said Fredrik Sjöqvist, Managing Director of Mantorp Park Motorbana AB.

The operation of the track is currently being handled by the Fabas Group in a transition period.
“We are hoping to get in more contractors over time that want to be a part of running the events on the track,” said Sjöqvist.

The bankruptcy of the event company means that the contracts TTA and STCC had with the track for future races have been annulled.
