James Moffat’s No.18 DJR Ford Falcon unveiled
The Ford Falcon FG with which 27-year-old James Moffat will contest the 2012 V8 Supercars season has been unveiled today, with the Dick Johnson Racing entry featuring title sponsorship from internet security firm Norton.
The Queensland-based team will be fielding four cars in this year’s championship, with Moffat going into his second full season with the 2010 championship winning squad. Steven Johnson stays in the No.17 Jim Beam Racing entry, with Dean Fiore taking on those colours as well in the No.12 car, with Steve Owen racing in the VIP Pet Foods sponsored car.
“I think the car looks really amazing and it reflects the enthusiasm that all the Norton team is feeling for the year ahead,” said Moffat.
“If the car goes as good as it looks we’ll be in great shape!”
“Naming rights sponsorship has been a natural evolution, from the time Norton started sponsoring me in the Development Series a couple of years ago . I can’t thank Norton enough for their support and commitment.”
