Kristoffersson fastest in first Mantorp test

Johan Kristoffersson was fastest in the first STCC premiere test session at Mantorp Park during changeable weather conditions. The Swede was eight tenths faster than fellow Volkswagen driver Patrik Olsson.

Rickard Rydell was best Chevrolet driver in third, 1,4 seconds from Kristoffersson, with Robin Appelqvist fourth.

Jordi Gené only completed four laps to claim fifth fastest time ahead of Niclas Olsson and Santosh Berggren. Claes Hoffsten, renting Mattias Andersson’s Alfa Romeo for the weekend, was eighth ahead of Tomas Engström and Andreas Ahlberg.

14 cars took part in the test session which is followed by qualifying shortly.
