Kristoffersson to do both Superstars and STCC this weekend

Johan Kristoffersson has got a busy schedule ahead of him self ahead of this weekend as he is going to take part in both the STCC races at Knutstorp in Sweden, as well as the Superstars International races at Donington Park in England.
“As I am going to miss the Superstars qualifying session on Saturday, I am going to start last in the first race. It is going to be tough, but I’ll give it a chance,” said Kristoffersson.

The Swede leads both championships after a double victory at Imola and a double victory at Mantorp Park last time out.
“I am first of all aimed at taking the points I can get at Donington Park, but I am hopeful as I think the track is going to suit our car rather well,” said Kristoffersson.

Kristoffersson drives a four-wheel driven Audi RS5 in Superstars but has never before raced at Donington.
“We had a track day last week which made it possible for me to drive 15 laps on the track in a road car. I have driven at Donington Park at my computer before, but it is not the same as experiencing it for real. My goal is to drive from last to eighth in the first race and get the reversed grid pole for the second race. If it is reasonable? I don’t know, but I hope so,” said Kristoffersson.

The Swede has got his sights set higher for the STCC race at Knutstorp where he will take part in all tests and qualifying ahead of the races.
“We are focusing on the job we have to do at Knutstorp. If you perform at 98 percent, you are sixth instead of fighting for the wins. My goal is to keep the championship lead,” said Kristoffersson.
