Five drivers receive punishment at Croft

Ollie Jackson, Dave Newsham, Rob Collard, Adam Morgan and Will Bratt were all punished in varying ways at Croft this weekend, though the latter four were for incidents two weeks ago at Oulton Park.

AmD Tuning’s Ollie Jackson was given a two point endorsement on his competition licence for an incident involving Tony Gilham’s Team HARD Honda Civic in race one, and a further two points after a coming together with Chris James’s Team ES Racing Vauxhall in race three at Tower bend.

A number of incidents from Oulton Park were also investigated this weekend, with Team ES Racing’s Dave Newsham receiving a two point endorsement for a collision with Dan Welch’s Proton, and Rob Collard also endorsed two points for his coming together with Andrew Jordan at the restart in the third race of the day. Collard was also given a verbal warning for an altercation on track with Mat Jackson at that weekend.

BTCC rookies Will Bratt and Adam Morgan, driving for Rob Austin Racing Audi and Speedworks Toyota respectively, were also both given verbal warnings for their contretemps in race three.
