Kristoffersson on his own in first test at Mantorp

Johan Kristoffersson was on his own in the first STCC test session at Mantorp Park, close to three tenths ahead of fellow Volkswagen driver Patrik Olsson. Tomas Engström completed the top three in his NGTC engined Honda Civic, 0.358 seconds from the top.

Jordi Gené was fourth fastest ahead of the two Chevrolet drivers with Michel Nyjaer in fifth and Rickard Rydell in sixth. A mere 0.062 separated the two Chevrolet Cruze drivers.

Johan Stureson was final driver under one second from the top time with 1:22.601.

Santosh Berggren was eighth fastest, but close to two seconds from Kristoffersson’s time. Niclas Olsson was second best SEAT driver in ninth ahead of third SEAT driver Robin Appelqvist, 2.280 seconds from the top.

The STCC qualifying session starts at 16.20 CET.
