Motorbase spring NGTC surprise for Mat Jackson

Motorbase Performance have arrived at Snetterton with a brand new Next Generation Touring Car specification Ford Focus ST for Mat Jackson, which should turn a wheel for the first time in free practice.

The arrival of the British Touring Car Championship’s latest NGTC challenger was completely unannounced. The car arrived at the circuit early this morning and the team are hard at work getting it ready for free practice.

Although Jackson’s regular S2000 Ford Focus ST, based on the Mk.II model is also present this weekend.

Jackson admits it’s a bit of a gamble, since the car hasn’t even been tested, but it’s a risk they feel they have to take in order to reignite their battle in the Championship.
