Danish double pole for Chevrolet with Rydell and Nykjaer

Chevrolet Motorsport Sweden claimed pole position for both STCC races at Jyllandsringen in Denmark. Local driver Michel Nykjaer was fastest in Q1, securing pole for the first race ahead of championship leader Johan Kristoffersson in second.

Rydell is going to start third ahead of Östersund double race winner Tomas Engström in fourth. Johan Stureson headed three Volkswagens in fifth ahead of Patrik Olsson and Jordi Gené.

The Q2 session saw Rydell claiming pole for the second race ahead of team mate Nykjaer in second.

Spanish Volkswagen driver Gené was third fastest with Kristoffersson in fourth, Olsson in fifth and Stureson in sixth.
