Picko Troberg confirms one car in STCC 2013

Swedish racing legend Picko Troberg has confirmed that he is going to run one car in the main class of STCC 2013.
“The Prince is going to drive STCC for Volvo Polestar and I can today reveal that I am also going to run a TTA car in STCC,” said Troberg to Bilsport.

The 75-year-old has signed a three-year sponsorship deal with DHL and the car will be run in the yellow and red colors.
“It will be like old times. I always used to race with yellow cars,” said Troberg.

Troberg has not confirmed which driver he is going to field, but that many drivers are interested.

The team Picko Troberg Racing last raced in the STCC 2007 with a pair of BMW 320i E46 for Roger Eriksson and Fredrik Lestrup. Their most victorious driver was Jens Edman while driving a Ford Mondeo in 2000, scoring three victories.
