BMW ahead of Volvo in final Knutstorp test day

Fredrik Larsson was fastest in the final test day at Knutstorp. The BMW driver headed a close top three with Fredrik Ekblom a mere 0.027 seconds behind in second and Richard Göransson 0.085 seconds behind in third.

Robert Dahlgren, who was overall fastest from the three days combined, was fourth fastest today ahead of the top Citroën driver in the form of Jocke Mangs, rounding off the top five 0.179 seconds from the top time.

Volvo drivers Thed Björk and Linus Ohlsson occupied positions six and seven, with Robin Rudholm, driving for WestCoast Racing, in eighth position.

STCC newcomer and Saab driver Alexander Graff improved to ninth position towards the end of the session, with Dacia’s Mattias Andersson rounding off the top ten.

The day started with a wet track which dried up, only to get wet again as a rain shower hit the track at the end of the morning session. The final session was held in mainly dry conditions.

Next up for the STCC drivers is the season start at Knutstorp on the 4th of May.
