Dahlgren and Rudholm on top in first Falkenberg test

Robert Dahlgren and Robin Rudholm were the two fastest drivers in the first Scandinavian Touring Car Championship test of the weekend at Falkenberg. The Volvo driver lapped the short and fast track in 43.435, with rival BMW driver Rudholm a mere 0.030 seconds behind.

Reigning TTA champion Fredrik Ekblom was third fastest, a further 0.110 seconds behind, ahead of manufacturer colleague Linus Ohlsson in fourth. BMW duo Fredrik Larsson and Richard Göransson occupied positions five and six, about two tenths from Dahlgren’s best time.

Championship leader Thed Björk was down in seventh position, over four tenths from the top time. Mattias Andersson was best non Volvo or BMW driver in eighth with his Dacia SE, while Daniel Haglöf and Jocke Mangs rounding off the top ten.

The test session, held in warm summer conditions, went without any incidents. The second test session of the day starts at 17.20 CET.
