Thed Björk ahead of Robert Dahlgren in first test at Karlskoga

Thed Björk claimed position one on his very last lap in the first STCC test of the Karlskoga weekend, beating Volvo colleague Robert Dahlgren with 0.181 seconds.

BMW duo Richard Göransson and Fredrik Larsson claimed positions three and four, 0.276 and 0.327 seconds behind respectively.

Top non Volvo or BMW driver was once again Daniel Haglöf in seventh position behind Fredrik Ekblom and Linus Ohlsson. Mattias Andersson, Jocke Mangs and Prince Carl Philip Bernadotte rounded off the top ten.

The session was held without any major incidents, Bernadotte visited the gravel trap twice, but drove to the pits on his own on both occasions.

STCC returnee Alx Danielsson only managed 12th position, 1.9 seconds from the top time and seemed to have technical gremlins during the session. Roar Lindland did not take part in the session as he is at Spa for the Porsche Supercup race. The Norwegian will join the STCC field tomorrow for the qualifying and two races.

The second test session of the day starts at 17.30 CET.
