Daniel Haglöf tops Tierp Arena test ahead of title rivals

Daniel Haglöf topped the first test session at Tierp Arena, setting a lap time that was two tenths faster than title rivals Thed Björk and Richard Göransson.

Björk and Göransson took turns in topping the session before Haglöf snatched first position towards the end. The Volvo driver claimed second position, with the BMW driver in third, just 0.030 seconds behind.

Robert Dahlgren was fourth fastest ahead of his team mate Linus Ohlsson, while Göransson’s team mate Fredrik Larsson claimed position six.

Reigning champion Fredrik Ekblom was seventh fastest, 0.680 seconds from P1, ahead of Dacia Dealer Team driver Mattias Andersson. Citroën duo Alx Danielsson and Jocke Mangs rounded off the top ten.

The session was held without any interruptions or yellow flags, the second session starts at 16.30 CET.
