Fredrik Ekblom ahead of Fredrik Larsson in test two at Knutstorp

Volvo driver Fredrik Ekblom was fastest once again in the second and final STCC test session at Knutstorp ahead of qualifying. BMW driver Fredrik Larsson was a lot closer in this session, lapping just 0.012 seconds slower than Ekblom in second place.

Andreas Wernersson made strong process in the second test session for Team Kia, climbing to third place, just 0.108 seconds from Ekblom.

Ekblom’s team mate Thed Björk was fourth fastest and the final man below two tenths of a second from the top time, 0.180 seconds behind.

Mattias Andersson made it into the top five with his Dacia SE ahead of the second best Kia driver in the form of Mattias Lindberg in sixth position.

Team Tidö driver Richard Göransson spent the first half of the session in the pits, being delayed by work being done on the car after an off in the first test session. As the four time STCC champion made it out on the circuit, his best time was seventh fastest overall.

Linus Ohlsson was only just faster than Emma Kimiläinen, with a single thousand of a second separating the both in eighth and ninth place. Philip Forsman was the final driver into the top ten for BMW team WestCoast Racing.
