Mike Bushell “conscious and responsive” after Thruxton crash
AmD Tuning’s Mike Bushell is “conscious and responsive” in hospital after a heavy accident at Thruxton which left him with a suspected broken femur.
Bushell’s Ford Focus ST was leaving the pitlane when he made contact with Speedworks Motorsport’s Simon Belcher, who was coming around Allard on a flying lap.
The two both hit the wall and were both able to get out of their cars before being taken to the circuit’s medical centre. After tests, Bushell was transferred to Southampton General Hospital.

Mike Bushell has been taken to Southampton hospital with a suspected broken left femur. He is conscious and responsive.
