Fredrik Larsson dominates wet first test at Anderstorp

Fredrik Larsson dominated the first STCC test at Anderstorp Raceway, a test held in very wet conditions. The BMW driver was a full seven tenths of a second faster than Volvo Polestar Racing driver Fredrik Ekblom in second place.

The session started with pouring rain but with the sun coming out towards the end. The track remained wet however, with no major improvements being made.

Four-time STCC champion Richard Göransson was third fastest for Team Tidö, 0.076 seconds behind Ekblom in second place.

Championship leader was fourth fastest, over 1.2 seconds from Larsson’s time, with Erik Jonsson in fifth position.

Emma Kimiläinen was sixth fastest for PWR Racing, over 2.3 seconds from the top time. Erik Johansson was fastest of the Team Kia drivers in seventh position while his team mate Emelie Liljeström failed to make it out to the session.

The second test session of the day starts 13:50 CET with the weather forecasts warning for more rain.
