Daniel Haglöf continues to dominate Solvalla practice
Daniel Haglöf continues to dominate the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship practice sessions at Solvalla, lapping the short circuit in 45.752 in the second session.
Dacia Dealer Team driver Mattias Andersson climbed to second place, just 0.113 seconds behind PWR Racing driver Haglöf.
Championship leader Thed Björk improved in the final part of the session to set the third fastest time ahead of title rival and BMW driver Fredrik Larsson in third place.
Polestar Cyan Racing driver Fredrik Ekblom improved his best time towards the end as well to claim fifth position, albeit close to nine tenths of a second from the top time.
Emma Kimiläinen was the final driver into the top six, with Prince Carl Philip Bernadotte in seventh and Richard Göransson in eighth.
Team Tidö driver Göransson had to end the session in the gravel after a clash with Björk in the final minutes of the session. Björk went on the inside of the Saab driver in turn three, resulting in contact and Göransson left stranded with broken front suspension while Björk could continue.
