Harald Proczyk takes Sachsenring pole position

Harald Proczyk took pole position for Hp Racing at the wheel of his SEAT León Racer. The Austrian will share the front row with TCR Germany championship leader Josh Files, who was less than one tenth slower than the pole sitter. Steve Kirsch will start from third in the first non-SEAT on the grid in his Team Honda ADAC Sachsen Civic TCR.

Liqui Moly Team Engstler’s Tim Zimmermann came home fourth, the Volkswagen driver just ahead of LMS Racing’s Antti Buri. The Finn will have Racing One’s Benjamin Leuchter next to him on the starting grid as the young Volkswagen driver fights to keep his second place in the championship.

Juergen Schmarl came home seventh in his Target Competition SEAT, just ahead of Kai Jordan in the JBR Motorsport Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR, with Mario Dablander’s SEAT in ninth ahead of René Münnich in the All-Inkl.com Honda Civic TCR.

Race 1 is scheduled for 12.00 local time, while the reversed grid second race will take place tomorrow at 10.25 with Münnich starting from pole.
